Western Food

Penang has a wide variety of Western food in fine dining restaurants, boutique restaurants and hawker stalls.

There are 2 main types of western food in Penang- western western and Penang western.

  • Penang Western Food consists of a few dishes that is commonly found in Hawker Stalls and small bistros/cafes. The most popular Penang Western Food dish is probably “Chicken Chop (oriental stye)”.
  • The western Western food in Penang ranges from English Pub food to fine dining Italian restaurants. Similar to the rest of the world, many of these restaurants will offer a fusion menu that combines many European influences.
